The Kankakee Farmers' Market is held in the parking lot at the corner of Schuyler Avenue and Merchant Street in downtown Kankakee. The market hours are 7am to noon.\n\nFiffer will be signing copies of her latest release\, Backstage Stuff\, and distributing recipes of "Nellie's EZ Way Inn Vegetable Soup" to Market shoppers. Mayor Nina Epstein and Market Manager Bill Yohnka will present Fiffer with a "Key to the Farmers' Market." In addition\, those attending can register to win a Jane Wheel tote bag\, complete with signed copies of previous Wheel mysteries. Copies of Backstage Stuff and various copies of Fiffer's other books in the same series will be available for sale.\n\nKankakee Farmers' Market Manager Bill Yohnka will present Fiffer with the first-ever "key" to the Kankakee Farmers' Market. "Sharon is crusader for Kankakee   helping to put us on the map in her books that our popular all over the country. And it also wouldn't hurt for the Kankakee Farmers' Market to end up in one of her books!" The "key" to the farmers' market will be presented at 10:30am at the gazebo of the market\, in the parking lot on the corner of Schuyler Avenue and Merchant Street in downtown Kankakee.\n\nFiffer's Jane Wheel Mysteries chronicle the (mis)adventures of antique collector and amateur sleuth Jane Wheel\, whose hometown is Kankakee. Each book frequently mentions various landmarks and locations within the Kankakee area\, as well as the EZ Way Inn   a tavern fictionally-owned by Wheel's parents\, Don and Nellie\, and formerly owned by Fiffer's parents. Fiffer is a graduate of Bishop McNamara High School.
