This event invites our community to slow down\, practice empathy\, and celebrate the humanity of individuals living with dementia.\n\n \n\nWe're proud to partner with Bourbonnais Grove to bring this meaningful experience to our community!\n\n \n\n Who's Serving?\n\nOur Guest Servers are from Bourbonnais Grove and are individuals living with dementia.\n\nThey'll be supported by Server Buddies from Riverside Medical Center's Education Department and community members\, who will assist\, encourage\, and help create a warm\, inclusive environment for everyone.\n\n \n\n What This Event Is About\n\nCafe of Mistaken Orders is designed to:\n\n- Build empathy and awareness around dementia\n\n- Celebrate dignity\, purpose\, and joyful imperfection\n\n- Encourage patience and understanding in everyday interactions\n\n- Bring our community together through shared experience\n\n \n\nEvery "mistaken order" is unintentional\, and meaningful. It reminds us that compassion matters more than perfection.\n\n \n\nWe'd love to have you join us for this uplifting\, community-building event where we are serving kindness\, one mistake at a time.
