The screening is supported by Mattea's Joy\, a non-profit organization that brings care\, connection\, and community to families with hospitalized children. \n\n \n\n"Misson: Joy"\, directed by Louis Psihoyos\, was inspired by New York Times bestseller 'The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World'\, the film showcases the exchange between the Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu that led to that book. The two Nobel Peace Prize recipients offer neuroscience-backed wisdom to help us live with more joy\, despite circumstances.\n\n \n\nShot over 5 days at the Dalai Lama's residence in Dharamsala\, the film invites viewers behind the scenes as they recount stories from their lives\, each having lived through periods of incredible difficulty and strife. \n\n \n\n"The film aligns with our mission to bring Joy in the Journey to families navigating life's challenges\, including our focus on hospitalized children\," said Jamie Freedlund\, co-founder of Mattea's Joy. \n\n \n\n"We are not charging admission because we want to give back to a community that has been so good to our organization\, said Freedlund.
