SUMMARY:Educate & Elevate: Drug Free Workplace Webinar
DESCRIPTION:This two hour live webinar is designed for workplace professionals responsible for their organization's drug-free workplace policy. The program will provide practical observational tools to recognize and document the physical and behavioral indicators of drug intoxication in the workplace. A standardized checkpoint worksheet will be provided to establish reasonable suspicion for a fitness for duty drug/alcohol test. A special focus will be placed on the new recreational and medical cannabis laws in Illinois and recent amendments that impact employers.  The new Illinois Employee Right to Privacy and its expected impact on random urine drug testing will be discussed along with new federal approval of hair testing and experimental expired breath drug testing. A review of recommended policy changes to reflect hemp flower possession and medical warnings on employee CBD use will be included. \n\nThe presenter will be Bruce Talbot who has over 30 years experience presenting drug-free workplace training seminar for major corporations across America and Canada.\n\nThis is a live event.
