\n \; \; Music and fireworks will once again fill the air on July 4 at Kankakee Community College.
\n\n \; \; Gates will open at 3 p.m.\, and the Kankakee Valley Youth Symphony will play at 5:30 p.m. Opening ceremonies to honor veterans will follow the first concert. After the formal opening\, the Kankakee Valley Symphony Orchestra will play. The evening will end with a spectacular fireworks show. In the case of inclement weather\, the concerts will be indoors. Food concessions will be available starting at 4 p.m. Games and activities for kids will be from 3 to 6:30 p.m.
\n\n \; \; Admission is $15 a carload.
\n\n \; \; KCC&rsquo\;s grounds are handicapped accessible and picnicking is permitted. Concertgoers should bring chairs and blankets\; no seating is provided. Ample indoor restrooms are available. Personal fireworks\, including sparklers\, are not permitted.
