The items will go to ?A Pretty Hat for Her\,? a supportive effort for women battling breast cancer. Susan Fox works at Presence St. Mary?s Hospital in Kankakee and lives in Momence. Her book is the true account of how Joanne (Carter) Bowling answered the call to serve others. Drawing from Bowling?s journal and recordings\, Fox documents the many adventures ? against the backdrop of world challenges and changes ? that took Bowling first to Afghanistan with the Peace Corps in 1968.
