DESCRIPTION:Dr. Dianne M. Daniels of Olivet Nazarene University will be featured on a panel of experts at the "6th Annual Women in the Workforce Conference\," Thursday\, October 25\, 2012\, in Chicago Heights\, Ill. Daniels is an assistant professor of business at administrative faculty in the doctorate of education in ethical leadership program for Olivet's School of Graduate and Continuing Studies. Olivet is one of the event sponsors.\n\n	Before joining Olivet's faculty\, Daniels served as Assistant Vice President of Finance and in other capacities as a corporate finance professional for major corporations\, including Hewlett-Packard\, Agilent Technologies\, Sprint and Sprint PCS\, Conseco\, and ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank. She is also a trained Six-Sigma DMAIC Greenbelt with process improvement experience and has earned certification in strategy and management from The American Management Association and as a Registered Leadership Coach from the Institute for Life Coach Training. As principal at The Dawson Daniels Consulting Group\, LLC\, she specialized in business development and executive coaching\, serving as an advisor to boards of directors\, presidents\, and owners of national non-profit and for-profit organizations. She also serves on the board of directors of Esusu Investments\, Inc.\n\n	Prairie State College hosts this event at the Conference Center on the Chicago Heights campus. Registration begins at 9 a.m.\, with the conference from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Other presenters include: keynote speakers Linda McGill Boasmond\, owner and president of Cedar Concepts Corporation\, and Micah Materre WGN-TV news anchor\; Monique Caradine\, owner of Momentum Media Group\; Debra Glanton\, owner and president of Illinois Welding School\; and Renee Hill\, insurance professional with Warren Insurance Agency.\n\n	Helping women connect with other women to share experiences\, discuss different viewpoints and invest in themselves are the goals of the conference. Social workers\, counselors and teachers may earn continuing education credits by attending.\n\n	Joining Olivet as event sponsors are: U.S. Small Business Administration\, State of Illinois\, Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Development\, Chicago Heights Business Council\, Kankakee Community College and Professional Women's Network.\n\n	Cost for the event is $15 per person\, which includes a boxed lunch.
