About Us

LoveALatte Coffee was established as a nonprofit pop-up coffee shop in 2018. We are a job training opportunity for young adults with special needs in Kankakee County. We "pop-up" at events all around our county and beyond, including the Kankakee Farmers' Market every Saturday morning from April - October. Our interns receive hands on training in customer service, money management, beverage preparation, among other skills related to future successful employment. We believe EVERYONE can learn, EVERYONE can work, EVERYONE is a valuable member of society.
