About Us
Bill Guertin is a lifelong Kankakee County resident whose career includes many years in sales and marketing within local broadcast media, healthcare, and as an independent sales consultant. His company, The 800-Pound Gorilla Inc., was created in 2004 to provide sales consulting and presentations related to improving the ticket sales skills of professional sports teams, including those in the NBA, NFL, NHL, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, and several Division I collegiate athletic departments. His sub-brand, Stadium Gorilla, is the moniker under which Bill has worked with over 100 individual sports teams within the US, Canada and Mexico.
His two latest ventures include a new company created to expand the training of sports and entertainment professionals in online video form (Inspiration Sports Business Institute, www.isbi360.com), and a non-sports related 40-minute keynote presentation called ''The 7 Voices In Your Head'' (www.The7Voices.com) which is targeted to the conference and organizational meeting markets.
