Join us at the Relay For Life of Kankakee County on Saturday, June 13, 2026. This family-friendly FREE event will take place at the Village of Bourbonnais-The Grove at 700 Main St. NW, Bourbonnais from 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. The day of event activities will include music (DJ), food, playground, team fundraisers, luminaria ceremony, fun theme laps, prizes, survivors' activities and much more. Survivors and Caregivers are invited to walk a special lap immediately after opening ceremony. We encourage all survivors and caregivers to register prior to the event. All registered Survivors will receive a FREE purple survivor t-shirt.

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals and groups to help make a difference! Opportunities include: Planning Committee Members to help plan and organize the event. Day-of-Event Volunteers will support activities and ensure everything runs smoothly. Perfect for organizations, schools, clubs, and community groups looking to give back!

Schedule Highlights:

Opening Ceremony: 2:00p.m. followed by the Survivors Lap then Caregivers Lap

Teams Spirit Lap: 2:45p.m.

Team Fundraisers: 3:30p.m. - 8:45p.m.

Kids Zone: 3:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. - variety of games & activities at The Grove playground

Luminaria Ceremony: 9:00p.m.

Closing Ceremony: 10:00p.m.
