Annual Empowerment Walk
Zonta Club of Kankakee is holding an Empowerment Walk on Saturday, September 27 at the Farmers Market in Kankakee. Zonta is working with Harbor House, a local shelter for domestic abuse victims, to demonstrate our visual and vocal concern for how the issue of domestic violence is affecting our own community. The community is encouraged to join with Zonta and Harbor House in this advocacy event, which is open to the public.
