Harvest View proudly announces the opening of the DANIEL PETERS SOLO EXHIBITION.  
 
The opening reception will be January 23rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.   Artists Comments 6:30 p.m.   The exhibit will remain on display through March 10^th, 2020. Many works will be available for purchase.  All proceeds benefit residents programming.  Admission is free and open to the public.
 
Daniel Peters is a fine art photographer who resides in Manhattan, Illinois.  Featuring strong perspective, intense depth of field, beautiful light, and texture, his photographic images cover a wide range of subjects, from dramatic vistas of farms at sunrise to entertaining abstractions.  
Having an interest in drawing from an early age, Dan studied Graphic Art in school and his early career focused on commercial art and print production services.  Although he currently works by day as a senior project manager, Dan continues to maintain and express his creative nature through the lens of his camera. Originally hailing from Clifton, Illinois, Dan had both friends and family involved in farming and as a result has a well-developed empathy for the nature of this region. Many pieces of his work are the result of pre-dawn or late day treks through an area to capture his distinctive view of a locale.
Dan’s photography work has been incorporated as artistic elements into custom interiors in downtown Chicago and he has also traveled around the US to produce images for an international energy firm to support stories about wind energy.
