ECDA to Host Next Community Conversation at Kankakee County Museum

The City of Kankakee Economic and Community Development Agency (ECDA)
will host a Community Conversation on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 5:30pm at the Kankakee County Museum
(801 S 8 th Ave, Kankakee). This is the fifth Community Conversation in the 2026 series for the residents of Kankakee
with future Community Conversations taking place on the second Thursday of each month through October. A
different topic for education and discussion will be featured monthly in partnership with a local organization. The
highlighted topic for August is Your Next Opportunity in partnership with Kankakee Workforce Services.
Kankakeeans are encouraged to attend with the purpose of learning, providing personal perspectives about their
neighborhoods, and engaging with their neighbors.
