Happily Ever Laughter Tour
On Friday April 25th, Chicago's legendary sketch comedy theatre, The Second City's Happily Ever Laughter Tour will appear at the Majestic Theater, featuring some of the best sketches, songs, and improvisations from The Second City's fifty two year history. The Second City is truly a Chicago landmark and a national treasure. This year it's anticipated to be sold out again this year. It's a Chicago landmark show close to home. The purpose of the Kankakee Valley Symphony Women's Board (KVSOWB) is to provide financial and organizational support for the Kankakee Valley Symphony Orchestra Association and to work with the KVSO in offering cultural and educational activities to the community. Since KVSOWB a 501 (c) (3) not for profit organization, they are looking for sponsors that would help defray the costs for this event. There are many different sponsorship opportunities available. Forms for sponsorship opportunities are online at www.kvso.org. Sponsorship forms are due by April 1st. NEW this year Carmela Nudo will be performing as an opening act. Carmela is a local comedian and will share life through her eyes. She gives you tears of laughter, makes you think, and motivates you in ways that surprise us. Tickets for the event will be available starting Monday, March 3rd. General admission tickets are $35 each and can be purchased online at www.kvso.org or at the following locations: Joy's Hallmark, Busse and Rieck, and Tholens. Limited VIP tickets are being sold for the 2nd and 3rd balconies. VIP tickets are extra special and include a private cash bar on each level, comfy seating with tables for parties of two or four, and complimentary refreshments. Since there are a very limited amount of VIP tickets they are only being sold online at www.kvso.org. VIP tickets are $50 each. Doors open promptly at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Cash bar for will be available.
