Kankakee Area Jaycees General Meeting & Recruitment Night
Do you have an idea that could create positive change in your community? Have you ever noticed something the community could benefit from, wish you could help but didn’t know where to start? The Kankakee Area Jaycees might be for you!
Our chapter is seeking young men and women between the ages of 18 and 41. Our projects and activities offer individual and community development opportunities through training and hands-on experience through running and developing your passion projects.
What kind of things does this include?

Willeum wanted to declare June 21st Kankakee Day, it’s been done! We’re celebrating the Kankakee County seat’s 165th anniversary!
Christa is running two blood drives with Court Street Ford and wants to run business skill training sessions.
Amber is working with Camp Shaw-waw-nas-see to bring the Sleep in Heavenly Peace project to the area, where no child will go without a bed.
Amy is organizing a big Halloween festival for Downtown Kankakee!
