Kankakee Community College is hosting financial aid information nights and workshops to assist college-bound students and their parents in understanding the financial aid process.
The information nights are designed to clarify the types of aid available and to help students and their parent's begin on the right path to obtaining financial aid for a colleg education. These workshops are hands-on sessions to fill out the 2011-12 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is the form used at all two-and four-year colleges and universities to determine eligibility for federal and state grants, work-study programs, subsidized & unsubsidized student loans and some scholarships.
