Mattea's Joy Movie in the Park
Bring the family to watch Despicable Me 2 under the stars. The movie begins at dusk on Friday, Aug. 15 at Perry Farm in Bourbonnais. Moviegoers should bring chairs and blankets; no seating is provided. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. The runtime is 98 minutes. Family games, concessions and silent auction will also be available starting at 5:30 p.m. If needed, the rain date will be Aug. 29. Proceeds benefit Mattea's Joy, a non-profit organization that serves monthly meals for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Chicago, and also at the University of Chicago?s Comer Children?s Hospital. Mattea?s Joy also provides care packages to local families who are transferred to Comer from Riverside Medical Center and Presence St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee.
