Meadowview Theatre Continues Spring Film Series with ?Breakfast at Tiffany?s?
Meadowview Theatre's Spring Film Series continues on Wednesday, May 11th, 2016, with the digitally remastered ?Breakfast at Tiffany?s,? starring Aubrey Hepburn. The show will start at 7 PM at the Meadowview Theatre, located at 55 Meadowview Center in downtown Kankakee. The screening is free to subscribers of The Daily Journal with a limit of up to four passes per subscribing household. Passes will be available at The Daily Journal Northfield Mall and Kankakee offices two weeks prior to each showing. Non-subscribers will be admitted at the door for $5 per person. Seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. ?Breakfast at Tiffany?s? (PG/115 min) is a story based on the Truman Capote?s Novel about a young woman in New York City who meets a young man when he moves into her apartment building. He is with an older woman who is very wealthy, but he wants to be a writer. She is working as an expensive escort and searching for a rich, older man to marry. When they meet they become friends eventually develop feelings for one another. He finally wins her heart over when he takes her to breakfast at her favorite place in the world, Tiffany?s. The Spring Film Series concludes on Wednesday, June 8th, 2016 with ?Ferris Bueller?s Day Off,? which was originally release 30 years ago.
