Movie Night: John Wick

An ex-hitman, played with quiet sophistication by Keannu Reeves comes out of retirement to track down the gangsters that took everything from him in the first directing credit for veteran Hollywood stunt coordinators David Leitch and Chad Stahelski. Though decidedly trashy, John Wick is actually one of the best-crafted action films of recent years. Inspired fight choreography and innovative camera work infuse the pulpy proceedings with a controlled aggression that grabs the attention of a viewer and never lets go. ?For a movie in which dozens of people are violently shot in the head, John Wick is an awful lot of fun.?
