Prom Take II Dinner Dance

Prom Take II a black tie optional dinner dance benefitting Main Street Momence and the revitalization of the Downtown Momence Historic District  will be held Saturday, June 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Kankakee's Majestic Theatre. Ticket price $75 per person, $145 per couple includes a buffet dinner catered by La Villetta Banquets, open bar, photos and party favors. Purchase online at promtake2.brownpapertickets.com. The Old Hollywood-themed, 21-and-over dinner dance will feature live performances by 2013 The Voice contestant Lupe Carroll as well as Mick The Singing Mayor Porter and Mary Cantwell. A DJ will spin sounds throughout the evening from big band and swing to Motown and disco to today's hits. Your MC will be the incomparable Roy Collins of the Kankakee Valley Park District. All event proceeds benefit the continued revitalization of the Downtown Momence Historic District, with a portion supporting the redevelopment of the new David Cook-designed Town Square Park at River Street and Dixie Highway.
