Welding Rodeo at KCC
A "Welding Rodeo" offering prizes in four competition categories will be Saturday, April 16 at Kankakee Community College.
Four events will be held and the competition is open to welders of all skill levels. Prizes include certificates for four credit hours of coursework at KCC and a one-year American Welding Society student membership. There will be an addditonal award for the overall competion winner.
All participants wil be eneteed into drawings for a numbe of prizes, including welding gloves, jacket and hood.
Registrations will be accepted 8 a.m. to noon. The competition begins at 9 a.m. and continues until all registrants are finished.
Participants are encouraged to wear proper safety attire and to bring their own equipment. Some equipment can be loaned, if needed.
