Join us for a heart-centered, eye-opening Cafe of Mistaken Orders™, where joyful mix-ups are part of the experience, and part of the message. This event invites our community to slow down, practice empathy, and celebrate the humanity of individuals living with dementia.
 

We’re proud to partner with Bourbonnais Grove to bring this meaningful experience to our community!
 

 Who’s Serving?
Our Guest Servers are from Bourbonnais Grove and are individuals living with dementia.

They’ll be supported by Server Buddies from Riverside Medical Center’s Education Department and community members, who will assist, encourage, and help create a warm, inclusive environment for everyone.
 

 What This Event Is About
Cafe of Mistaken Orders™ is designed to:
- Build empathy and awareness around dementia
- Celebrate dignity, purpose, and joyful imperfection
- Encourage patience and understanding in everyday interactions
- Bring our community together through shared experience
 

Every “mistaken order” is unintentional, and meaningful. It reminds us that compassion matters more than perfection.
