Fall Kids Trout Fishing Derby

The Kankakee Valley Park District in partnership with the Northern Illinois Anglers Association presents the Fall Kids Fishing Derby at Bird Park! Parents bring the children out for a morning of fun and enjoyment as they try their skills at fishing. Prizes will be awarded for biggest trout caught by both a boy and girl. A limited amount of poles, bait, coffee, and donuts will be on hand. The fishing derby will take place Saturday October 18, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until noon at the Bird Park Fishing Pier.
